What is Liqwid?​

Liqwid is a decentralized liquidity protocol for lending and borrowing ADA, Cardano native tokens (CNTs), and stablecoins. The protocol is composed of audited smart contracts built with Plutus on the Cardano blockchain.

What is Liqwid v2?​

Liqwid v2 introduced advanced on-chain risk control features like borrow caps and supply caps, which limit how much can be borrowed or deposited in each market. It also included a full upgrade of the app's off-chain architecture and APIs for faster transaction speeds.

Where can I use Liqwid?​

Visit https://app.liqwid.finance/ to access the Liqwid v2 app.

Supply & Lending​

How do I supply assets?​

Navigate to the "Supply" section and click on "Supply" for the asset you want to deposit. Enter the amount you would like to supply and click on "Supply" to submit your transaction.

What are qTokens?​

qTokens are Cardano native tokens which function as interest bearing assets and receipt tokens similar to LP tokens on a DEX. As borrower interest accrues in a market, the exchange rate of qToken to the underlying aggregated assets increases.

How much will I earn?​

Your earnings depend on supply-demand conditions in each market. Higher utilization rates typically result in higher interest rates earned by suppliers.

Borrowing​

How do I borrow?​

First supply an asset as collateral, then navigate to the "Your Borrows" section and click on "Borrow" for the asset you want to borrow.

What is the health factor?​

The health factor is a number which calculates the safety of your collateral assets compared to your borrowed assets based on USD value. A larger health factor represents a safer loan.

How do I avoid liquidation?​

Maintain a strong health factor (above 2) by repaying your loan or depositing more collateral assets.

Governance​

What is the Liqwid DAO?​

Liqwid DAO is a community of members that propose improvements to the Liqwid protocol and function as a Decentralized Autonomous Organization via onchain delegation, staking and proposal voting.

How do I participate in governance?​

Stake your LQ tokens in the governance smart contract to unlock voting power. You can then vote directly or delegate your voting power to another wallet.
